Re: ..WOW>!!!!..brain implants...
This is actually old technology... several years old. They have short term memory chips that work with rats, cyborg eyeballs foe humans, cyborg ears, etc.
The technology is still being tested of course, but it works. |

this might cause the most significant change in how humans view themselves.... [/ QUOTE ] how sad that that's what it takes to get people to realize that humans are just advanced animals, and the brain is just an advanced computer. |

Re: ..WOW>!!!!..brain implants...
Here is some links
http://www.bostonretinalimplant.org/ http://www.technologyreview.com/arti...9/demo0904.asp I think about a dozen normally blind people are seeing with these. You can google the rest. Other technology they have... brain prosthesis - remote control mouse brain prosthesis - Memory add on for small mammals. Transparent aluminum Glassy Metal High Density Holographic Storage Light (as in sunrays) Computer Chips Hot Fusion Space elevator (In developement, but they say the technology is here) Nanotech Materials Cure for paralyisis in just about all mammals but humans. And much much more. This is why federal funding of research is so important. All of of these technologies were made possible one way or another by federal funding. Business's don't like to take risks. Business's go for profit. |
