pushing in the money
party $200+$15 - down to 3 - i have T3500 in the SB and get AJo - the button has T4200 - blinds at 200/400 - button raises to T800 - the BB has the remaining T1900 after posting - the BB is solid
i know about the button - he is your garden variety chook - i would guess he played about 3 times as many hands as me to get here - raising to T800 is a standard arrangement since he assumed a comfortable lead - he folds complete unsuited trash - he will limp with semi trash and do this with pretty much any A or K or suited cards - i dont think he has a premium hand - he is worse post flop than he is pre i went into the tank which is rare - the button is going to continue to create a lot of action - which means i'm big odds for 2nd by playing tight - i have no fear of playing the button heads up with a small stack - hmmm i push stripsqueez - chickenhawk |

Re: pushing in the money
im more than sure your a better player than me, but ill toss my hat in the middle if i may.
if hes awfull postflop (worse than pre) than surely calling him then outplaying him flop on would be best. maybe he has a pair, that looks damn pretty preflop (especially if hes as bad as you say), but flop on it aint as pretty. if you can outplay him then why not do so, rather than running it out. plus second point is if hes as bad as you say, KT might be pretty. which gives him a 40% chance to KO you into 3rd.
