i have been playing only nl lately, so i wanna know if i missed an easy river bet. thanks.

Yes, 8-whatever will pay you off. If you get check-raised...well cross that bridge when you come to it.

Big difference in value betting between NL and limit. You'd be asking for it here in NL.

believe me, in nl i would be very thanful for a free showdown here. had a feeling i missed a bet given it was limit though. apparently, i was correct. thanks for the advice.
