In the old days, kids had to hook up with chicks that went to their high school. If you had game, you could cruise the mall or the local arcade, and pick up chicks from other local high schools. You would inevitably have to waste countless hours and dollars on phone calls and actual "dates" before you would be permitted to sniff the tang. Or even worse, you might have to go "steady" for a long time before the chick would give it up.
Re: facebook/myspace/etc., I hope today's youth appreciates their fortune.
