I just posted it cause really it's an icky call on 3rd and I'm behind the entire hand but I keep shooting thinking they gotta fold but they don't but then I get lucky. Of course if my hand didn't keep improving I'd have to slam on the brakes since I had close to nothing to start with, but I think this hand is an example of how close the line is between bad play and aggressive, higher level thinking play.

Btw, after this hand I didn't play any more marginal hands because obviously you had to make a hand and show it down. If that wasn't the case hands like this could have been worth more to start with I think.

Honestly, I really like a fold in this situation, since the ante is so low and there isn't a lot to get after in this pot. If this was a structure more conducive to action than this is a better call. But, since you did call, I think this is the correct way to play it, but as you mentioned, if you brick at all, you really have to slam the brakes and rethink your game plan.
