Default Re: Two pair ... paired board ... double checkraise

1. I would lead out on the flop. Why do you check this flop?

[/ QUOTE ]

Agreed. I can only surmise he was worried about the kicker, but in a limped pot Hero's probably best.

2. On the turn, I like the bet, but Villians raise leads
to an interesting situation. With the flush and straight
draws on board, I would consider reraising here or perhaps
going allin right here.

[/ QUOTE ]

I like the push reraise. Villain could be slowplaying a wheel or set, but it's pretty unlikely. Chances are very good you're getting chips in with the best hand.

3. On the river, I like your $200 bet and I call the push.

[/ QUOTE ]

I like the half-pot bet. Not sure about calling the push. You're getting about 2:1, but the SB could well have a trey. That would make his turn raise a gutsy semibluff, unless he made eights up, now treys full. That's tough though.

Is it consensus to call the push? If so, what probabilities would we assign for Villain's possible hands: "total bluff", "trips or better", etc.?
