I built my own computers for years because it was cheaper and I got what I wanted. Since I'm no longer a gamer, I discovered that buying a prebuilt is much more economical, especially when you buy the refurbs/returns from CompUSA. Go to the store and find the computer you want, then go to
CompUSAAuctions, you should be able to find it 40-60% less than in the store. (If it's not up for bid now, it soon will be.) No way you can top that, you couldn't even buy the parts that cheap.
