Actually, I did a quick little kbb.com survey. Base 2001 bottom-line impreza (currently, 18.5-19k) v. base 2001 bottom-line civic (currently 14.5k-15k) with same mileage and same condition, and they were both about $10.5k (suggested retail price). Totally unscientific, but I still maintain that no brand of automobile holds its value better than Honda.
