There are plenty of people out there who gamble for fun. Your girlfriend is one of them.

There's no need to convince her to play winning poker; however, if you suspect she has a serious gambling problem (I'm in no place to judge if this is true, but it doesn't sound that serious), then you should have her contact a hotline or get her some help.
