Sorry I made a typo while giving the switch tables for the prisoners.. it should read...
Prisonner A
UU -> UD
UD -> DD (counter starts at zero again)
DU -> DD (counter starts at zero again)
DD -> UD
Prisonner B to G
UU -> UD
UD -> UU
DU -> UU
DD -> DU ... if the last time you came you were not in DD
DD -> UD ... if the last time you came you were in DD
