Default TPTK 1500 Chip Trout Game

Here is a TPTK I probably should have gotten away from. Villain is Perg. I got p3ned.

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em Tourney, Big Blind is t50 (9 handed) converter

MP1 (t1575)
MP2 (t1411)
MP3 (t1600)
CO (t2605)
Hero (t1754)
SB (t791)
BB (t3880)
UTG (t1055)
UTG+1 (t3130)

Preflop: Hero is Button with Q[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img].
6 folds, Hero raises to t150, 1 fold, BB calls t100.

Flop: (t325) 5[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 8[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], Q[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 players)
BB checks, Hero bets t250, BB raises to t750, Hero raises to t1604, BB calls t854.

Turn: (t3533) 7[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 players)

River: (t3533) T[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (2 players)

Final Pot: t3533

My thinking on the hand was:

1) Villain probably discounts my pre-flop raise since I'm on the button

2) If I was villain, I play back like this with KQ, possibly even the flush draw since the bet could just be a continuation bet with air.

3) The bet sure makes villain look committed to this hand, but a good player can make bluffs like this especially when he has enough chips to get away from the hand and still be around the chip lead at the table.

Anyway, should this have been really easy to get away from against a good opponent? I really felt like quite the fish when villain showed trips.
