There really is no explanation that you and I will ever accept. There is no good explanation for miracles having occurred daily a few thousand years ago and none now. Of course, some people will point to supposed miracles that've 'happened' in our lifetimes. But the people that 'witnessed' those are the same people that claim that Jesus personally touched their lives and told them they'd be all right and hugged them and cradled them.
