HERO balance 790, bet 310, collected 790

This is one of the stranger plays I've made. It was pretty clearly incorrect to just call preflop with such a small stack. Push or fold. I think my rationale at the time was, if I push, someone will likely call me anyway for so few chips, so I might as well see the flop then decide.

After the flop, I wasn't too happy, but my strategy was: If the other players see a tiny stack make the tight move of calling preflop, then maybe they would be more likely to fold post-flop if he goes all-in, as it would look the tight-playing short stack flopped a monster.

For what its worth, the caller took a long time to call with his A-6o, so maybe my strategy almost worked. Or maybe the guy was ordering a pizza.

Anyway, a very strange play that I hope I never make again, though obviously I sucked out on him this time.
