if you realized how many people get cut with knives each year you would want them taken away from everyone except people in power. unless you wanted to hurt someone why would anyone want such a scary weapon. why if it saved just one life a year wouldnt we all be better off never having access to a knife.
besides most all knife cuts occur in the home and involve family members.
