I raise for a free showdown sometimes in this spot.

This isn't a board I want to raise for a free showdown on, especially after BB gets called in 2 places.

Here is the parlay.

1. Flop leader doesn't have an ace. Maybe 50% of the time?
2. Callers have flush draws/no ace. 70%?
3. Evenyone will call your raise and check to you on the river regardless of whether they have an ace or not because they will be scared of a slowplayed set, strong ace, flush.
4. The 4th flush card doesn't come on the river.

The advantage to raising the turn is you won't get 3-bet very often and when you do it's an easy fold. Your getting great odds on a raise because of the middle players looking to hit a flush. (Getting odds on a raise doesn't make any sense I know but it sorta works). If you have odds to call, call a non-spade river (you are getting somewhere around 5-1), raising is better as it charges drawing hands with a card left.

Now I don't mind a fold. I'm just talking about a line I use in this situation sometimes. Gimme a bigger pot, a laggy BB and I'm more inclined to raise. One caller in between and I'm less inclined to raise.
