Default Re: jeet kune do

here are a few examples:

"Wisdom does not consist of trying to wrest the good from evil but in learning to 'ride' them as a cork adapts to itself the crests and troughs of teh waves"

"If nothing within you stays rigid, outward things will disclose themselves. Moving, be like water. Still be like a mirror. Respond like an echo" (this one may be specificly aimed at combat, but i belive this can apply to many more things)

"To see a thing uncolored by one's own personal preferences and desires is to see it in its own pristine simplicity."

"It is indeed difficult to see the situation simply - our minds are very comples - and it is easy to teach one to be skillful, but it is difficult to teach him his own attitude." (i dont get this one )

"Jeet Kune Do is the enlightenment. It is a way of life, a movement toward will power and control, though it ought to be enlightened by intuition."

there are many more quotes that are very generalized philosophy.
