Yeah, the ending felt a little forced to me, though. But I liked Sutherland in it a lot, even though I never needed to see any part of him nekkid.

Movies filmed in Venice are always kind of cool, and I really like the director, Nick Roeg, a lot. The scaffolding scene was really good. The two old ladies were really weird and kind of creepy.

Keep an eye out for the movie Performance. I think they're going to release that on video sometime soon. Roeg directed that, too, and it starts Mick Jagger and James Fox as the dapper thug whose mind he blows. James Fox spent like the next 8 years in a monastery after that film.
