Default (LC) Hand I\'m ashamed of...

Posting a hand I'm ashamed of to help 'teach myself'...

...I played it too slow again...

Gave villian 3:1 odds to call + implied odds...

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em Tourney, Big Blind is t200 (4 handed) converter

SB (t3985)
Hero (t4340)
UTG (t3330)
Button (t3345)

Preflop: Hero is BB with 4[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 7[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img].
UTG calls t200, 1 fold, SB completes, Hero checks.

Flop: (t575) Q[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 7[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 7[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (3 players)
SB checks, Hero checks, UTG bets t400, SB folds, Hero raises to t1200, UTG calls t800.

Turn: (t2975) J[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (2 players)
Hero checks, UTG bets t1905 (All-In), Hero calls t1905.

River: (t6785) 6[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 players, 1 all-in)

Final Pot: t6785

The flush was fairly obvious, but the pot was large - I had outs... I actually checked telling myself I would call his all-in. Figured it was the best way to get my money against a possible worst hand. If I pushed only the flush would call...

Most embarassing part is that if I was willing to do this on the turn, then I shoulda just done it on the flop where I had the best hand.

WHEN WILL I LEARN!

commence the flaming...

(I deserve it all)
