Default Should I not be thinking this way?

I'm a noob to the SNG forum, but have some experience playing SNGs.

Last night in one of my $33s I was thinking "If no one calls or raises, I'm going to push". Here's the setup as best as I can remember:

The table has been playing VERY tight. There are 6 of us left with the blinds at 75/150.

I'm 2 behind the button, with A 3 off. My chip count is ~700 and I'm worried about being horribly short stacked when the blinds come back around to me. I tell myself, "If it's folded to me, I push".

UTG folds, and UTG+1 folds, I push and get called by the SB with 66. He hits his set, and I'm out.

Wrong play? Right play? Should I even be thinking that in this situation? SB had the same chip count as I did...if I need to include any other information, let me know.
