Default Re: program to fix harddrive problem

[ QUOTE ]
It doesn't take more than a second to lose everything, so it very well may be lost. Take it to a computer repair shop, they will tell you if the harddrives are fried. If they are, take it to someone who specializes in data retrieval. It may be possible to get your data back, but odds are this will cost several hundred dollars.

Think of this as a reminder to back up your data on a regular basis.

how does it only take a second to completely erase everything?? or do you just mean make it difficult to retrieve?
