It is NOT risk free. If you have a limited BR, don't do it.
I have done 3 casinos and am positive overall. One of the sites did not allow BJ play. I played a VP game at around .05 house edge and still busted out buyin + bonus there. Variance can be significant in all games, and particularly in non-BJ.
There ARE some table-game strategies to minimize risk better than my approach.
