Default Re: Cheapest widely and regularly available beer?

I use to get Schmit (sp?) beer for 99 cents a six-pack. That was a number of years ago, more than 20, I think. The cans had pictures of different animals on them, ducks etc. The "babes" that live in the next apartment use to get quarts of Old English 800, with the green label. Don't know how cheap that was but when the Schmit six-pack meet the Old Engish 800 quart, sparks flew. Of course that was back when the male equipment worked in a much more efficient manner than it does now. I now have to live off of cheap memories created by cheap beer.
