I've seen this, and a similar situation where a guy has 3 pair but his pocket pair was counterfeitted and it is definitely an angle every time. The other people are just dumb.
And agree again I've never said anything "up" - two pair is two pair and I'll be specific if necessary, plus I always quickly follow up by turning over my cards anyway.
