Default TT early in tough game

This is from the King of the Zoo pot limit game tonight. Hero has played tight so far. Villain has been aggressive.

How's my line here?

Would a preflop raise have been a good idea?

Would anyone stick a pot sized bet in on the turn?

I'm thinking either he has two big cards and is bluffing or he has a big pair. I figured the pot odds were good enough to find out.
