Default Re: Heads Up Strategy Question

[ QUOTE ]
checkraising your bluffs costs more of an investment then simply 3betting preflop and leading the flop and turn because youre investing 2bets on the flop with little pot equity when a preflop 3bet plus flop bet invests only 1 bet with little pot equity as the preflop bet invested is with above average hot and cold equity.

I disagree.

Lets say you are dealt hand A and SB raises. Hand A has 52% equity against SB's steal range. I give you two choices: You can call and checkraise any flop or you can 3-bet and bet any flop.

Either way, you will be putting in 4 SB pre flop and on the flop with 52% equity. The only difference is that 2 of those SB have variable equities depending on the flop texture when you call and checkraise instead of 1 when you 3-bet and lead.
