Although the more I think about this the more I'm thinking this could be a real problem for Party. Usually when companies do these kinds of promotions (get a hole in one win a million bucks, if it snows more than 3 inches on New Years day win a car etc.) they buy insurance to cover themselves in the event that someone actually wins. I don't know if Party would have bought insurance for this promotion, but if they did then messing up this question probably just invalidated their policy. Of course it could be that putting the line at 43 instead of 33 was intentional and not a mistake.

For a company that generates as much profit as PartyPoker does, there is no way they would get an insurance policy on an amount as small as 1 million dollars.
