Default Re: Two Guardian Articles on Party Poker

[ QUOTE ]
Jay Cohen, co-founder of WSEX online sportsbook licensed and operating in Antigua, returned to the United States in 1998 to put the Wire Act to tis test (not telephone, not in the U.S.). He has been in jail since 2000.

The U.S. Justice Department insists that the Wire Act applies, and that it extends to any wagering online.

Aside from Jay Cohen, that has not been put to the test.

So apparently the Justice Dept. doesn't give a rat's about case law (the premise that PartyGaming continues to lean upon)?

I'm going to Google it, but does anyone have any links to articles about Mr. Cohen?
