they'll all just fold if i bet out

If you seriously think you could get all 3 of them to fold by betting out on the button then does that mean you would just bluff at this pot with 86s here?
Of course not. Because you don't have NEARLY enough folding equity into THREE players to make a stone bluff attempt +EV.

You DO have value out of your hand though and your opponents WILL call (most of the time...if they don't then oh well).

Seriously...checkiing behind here because you think that all 3 of your opponents will fold anyway is just plain bad poker.
Even if you had specific reads on these opponents that they were super-duper weak-tight-passive post-flop I would STILL bet here because you've got 3 of them and there are so many different ways they could have caught a pice of the board where they don't want to bet but WILL call.

Your image should be such that you are betting out fairly frequently anyway (your opponents think you are ALWAYS taking shots).
When it's checked to someone on the button it's almost expected that he's going to bet at it anyway. It's not surprising and your opponents aren't going to be initimidated by it.
Take advantage of this fact by drawing bets out of your opponents when you really do hit a hand.
