Default Re: Poll-Which Sites Do You Prefer For Limit Omaha 8?

For those selecting other sites, would you care to elaborate about why you like that site over others?

I chose Party Poker because it's what I had the most experience with in the past, having linked through Empire.

The lower limit games I played (3/6 and below) were extremely soft and easy to multi-table, making them profitable and I could play on auto-pilot (yes, I know it isn't necessarily fun, but I'm there to turn a profit, not really derive entertainment value)

I've played a bit on Stars, but they just didn't have the table selection that Party did, nor the rakeback. I can't attest to the others, but I see Absolute Poker is taking a decent chunk of the votes currently.

I see the highest myself playing the future as probably 5/10 or 10/20. I don't know how soft the higher limit games are. I know the live game at Foxwoods Casino, 5/10 with a kill, can be pretty awesome or pretty rocky, depending on when you play (one morning I played they actually got two tables going, although this grumpy old man always had to comment "he's got aces" whenever I raised pre-flop, which was a bit annoying, to say the least, especially since the dealer didn't say anything to him about it). Made it a bit easier to steal from them when the flop was bad for types of hands they would play (i.e. reasonably strong hands). And when it's loose and active, the game is extremely profitable. Had a lady with two pair on a low and paired board capping the bets with me, I scooped a huge pot off her.
