I'd take a look at Marcello C. The most popular models are basically Submariner homages, but they have some more unique designs too. Hamilton Khakis are really nice too.
If the possible uncoolness of wearing a japanese brand doesn't scare you, I'd recommend Seikos. Their designs range from beautiful classics to absolutley [censored] up and everything in between. Plus they make their own movements, which is nice. IMO, nothing is even close to Seiko considering price-quality ratio.
