I'm sick and tired of misinformation like this being spread on this forum. I don't know what poker books you've been reading, but they are clearly horrible. The concept that jman refers to is clearly illustrated in:

I suggest you read this book before giving others terrible advice. Make sure to pay careful attention to chapters 3, 5, and 8, as they are the most relevant to the concepts georgiec and jman have presented in this thread.
