Default How I Won My Final Pot of the Night

I was at a real casino last night near where I live and it was a pretty tough table. Luckily, most of the players weren't very good, they were just getting good cards.

My friend wanted to leave so I said, "Let me win one more pot."

I was the BB and dealt 7 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]2 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]. At first, I was like, "Great, another dead hand." But since I was the BB I was able to check into the hand. The flop came 7[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], another [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], and then a 2 of whatever suit. I was holding 2 pair from the flop giving me a reason to play the hand. I opened with a bet, and everyone called. The Turn was a [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] so I open bet again and some people folded except for the SB, me, and UTG. This is where it gets interesting.

The river hit me with another [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] and the guy to my left let out a sigh, as I was listening. And then the dealer said to me, "It's your turn." I looked up and looked over to the lady on my right asking if she had checked. When I looked over, she was holding up her cards and as my eyes were glancing by to look at her, I saw her holding the A [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] and some other non-club, as she was holding them facing me. I put in a bet, everyone folded, and I didn't even have to show my 72, and that pot put me into a profit for the night and away I went!
