I have to say that you have a better shot making it than most for one large reason. You have the patience to wait till NEXT MAY to do this. Honestly if I had this crazy dream i couldn't wait a day and either could most. If u can really wait till next May to fully invest yourself you have a great chance for success.

I too intend on playing for a living eventually. Right now I am up and down, but roughly even as a part time gig, but i feel it is my investment (that is getting the experience) for later in life whne i have the proper bankroll and experience to really "retire on cards" if u will. I'm going to work as an Actuary in the mean time.
