50 yard is 50 yards, and no it is not longer than 50 yards in the nfl. They take the fact that the post is in the back of the endzone into account when calculating the yardage.

In the CFL, the goal post is just beyond the goal line, just like the NFL had it back in the day. CFL end zones are 25 yards deep, which would've made it an even more impressive feat.

Why? They didn't say "he kicked it from the 50"; they said "he made a 50 yard FG". So even if the goalposts were at the back of the endzone, they would have adjusted the spot of the kick appropriately.
PS The end zones are 20 yards, not 25.
