Let us know what you think of Spotlight.

This is biased, but I really like Spotlight 29. Compared to how crazy I know Morongo would be, Spotlight was a breath of fresh air. Got there at 10:15 and had no problem at all signing up for the 11:00AM MTT. $30 buy in for $5,000 in chips, two rebuys you can take any time plus an add-on at the end of the first hour for $10 each. I took 2nd out of 60 or so players, made $600.

The room has 8 tables. There were zero ring games going on when they started the tournament, but they started a $3/$6 table while it was going on. They added a 2PM tournament because there were more players, which is the kind of thing I rarely see rooms do even when it makes sense.

Cons: chips were not marked with denominations, and the dealers were a very mixed bag. In situations with three or four all-in's, there were several times the dealer needed the players' help to figure out who got what. There was also a situation where they moved me from the BB to the button on another table, which caused quite a ruckus (which they did not correct).

The casino itself was very clean, etc, and the class of people was in general high. Drinks were relatively cheap: after I cashed I got a double Patron Anejo at the bar, which cost me $18. They about filled up a water glass with tequila for that. Same drink cost me $27 at La Quinta, for two very carefully measured shots.

All in all, I heartily recommend Spotlight 29.
