If there was a 2-flush on the flop, I would like the 3-bet as I would be afraid of a turn checkthough.

But, most players don't raise the flop with a gutshot draw so I can be pretty sure that MP will bet the turn, allowing me to collect 2 bets from 2 or 3 players.
