There's a No-limit $100 buy-in Hold'em tournament in DC on Sunday afternoon. Check it out in Friday's Washington Post page D2. It's "supporting various charities" which I guess is why it would be legal.
It says:
$10000 Guaranteed
1st place (based on 350 entries)
whatever that means. and "Pay out 10 places".
Has there ever been a tournament in DC before?
