I wouldn't say check/folding this flop is weak. You have ace high, there's a fair number of hands that are ahead of you and you don't have position. Leading this flop is bad, you get raised by overs that your beating and stuff that really is beating you a ton, leaving you with no clue where you stand.

Its an aggressive play which I think is marginal with position and pretty bad when you have to lead again after he calls your check raise, because many players I've seen will smooth call checkraises like that and then push when you bet into them again.
