Don't go to a smoking establishment. The advice from the first thread is correct. Withdrawls are strongest during the first few days. They start to subside over the next few weeks and then months, but they will never go away. They just get weaker and weaker.

Take your wife out to a nice dinner and go someplace to watch fireworks or a big TV or a show... Bring some gum to chew when you get a craving.

Stay away from smokers for a while. You can do this.

And if you fail, just remember that the more often you quit, the better you get at it [img]/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img]
