Re: pacific disconnects--is this good technical advice?
They gave me the same advice after being burned by their disconnects at critical times in big tourneys.
I reluctantly followed their instructions about opening ports. I didn't see any improvement in disconnects. So after a couple of weeks of that experiment I closed the ports again. I find it works exactly as well/poorly either way, so why take risks with open ports.
I think it may just be a stalling technique on thier part. One of many BS replies they give, until you get tired of complaining and just give up.
