Default Re: PF Decision: Facing a push

[ QUOTE ]
Origional poster, to raise with any of this range is fine, I'd maybe add AQo to it. Make the raise $2.5 (4BB + 1 for every limper).

An Unknown Villians hand range we have to assume is AA,KK,QQ,AK. Therefore, call with AA and KK, muck everything else

Maulik makes a good point re: raising a bit more here. I don't think we mind taking down the pot with this hand.

Also, I just ran AKo vs AK, AA-QQ, and it gives us 38.824% equity.

Therefore if we raised to 4 and then someone pushed for 25, the pot would be: 7*0.25 + 0.1 + 4 = 5.85 + 25 = 30.85...and we'd be looking at putting in 21 into a $51 pot... this would be the narrowest of folds.

With AKs we can call it, since we now have 41.904%.

However, with either of those hands, if we raised to merely $2.50, we could now fold, I'm pretty sure.

Which leads me to a question for Maulik... do we raise to $4 with AK here, or do we raise to $2.50 instead, since AK holds up a little better vs a crowd than JJ?

(I'll have to read the responses to this in about 2 days I guess... take care, guys.)
