I presume you are using your laptop via WiFi from the different locations...
It is my understanding that the password that is stored in the user.ini file in your PokerStars folder, also contains some information about the computer/IP address used to connect. Thus when you connect from a different location it asks you to manually enter the password again.
The reason for this is to stop someone from copying the user.ini file onto another computer in order to try and hack your account....
