That's an exaggeration, albeit not a terribly outrageous one. I've made the case that they aren't
entirely worthless several times, so i'm not going to repeat it here; i'm going to repeat it at

That said, you can get the same experience beating loose games for not much risk by playing micro-limits, and you're making a bit of money and playing more serious (and passive) opponents. Given the choice I'd go for micros, probably
