My group uses blind structure similar to above, starting at 25/50, and w/a 150/300 level, w/blind increases every 15 minutes. Last night, our first tourney, w/9 players, started w/T2500 and ended in about an hour when final 2 chopped the pot. Our second tourney, also w/same 9 players, started w/T3000 and lasted two hours, with the final two playing it out and ending at blind level 400/800.

When someone else hosts, we start w/T2000.

Chip stacks and blind structure are designed to play two tourneys w/in no more than 4 hours. It is fun, but very much a crap shoot once the blinds increase.
