Having just made the move myself, the biggest thing I notice is that the game is just generally more aggressive. More 3-bets, more flop and turn raises - just more betting in general. This makes reading opponents extremely opponents.
The best way to find yourself back at .5/1 is to be a calling station at 1/2.
