Default \"promote\" != \"provide\"

Not to muddy the waters here, but from what I've seen of Party's missive to affiliates, they clearly say that affiliates cannot "promote" rakeback, which isn't the same as "providing" rakeback.

I'm just assuming that they pass things through a lawyer before sending it out, and it isn't just another case of party-speak.

Anyway, I'd interpret that as meaning that while affiliates could not promote rb at party via web/e-mail/word of mouth, if someone specifically inquired to an affiliate as to rb on party, that wouldn't be a problem. The affiliate hasn't promoted rb in any way.
