I lived in AC for 3 years 1994-1997 and Las Vegas one year 1993..both cities are violent crowded polluted places with ugly people.
Vegas is better because it is cheaper and offers better value and gaming choices for the true gambling degenerate.
AC/Ventnor is on the water thu a big plus.Casino Pier right in front of the Taj and Ventnor Pier about a mile south of the Trop are all decent surfing spots.You can't surf on Mt.Charleston and skiing isnt much better.
