I invariably reply to 1e4 with the Sicilian. My line usually tends towarrd Dragon, Najdorf, or Scheveningen.
As White, historically I've played 1e4 the most, and go into the Italian or Ruy Lopez. But recently I've been playing the English a lot.
I don't think I've ever played 1d4 as White in my life.
As Black vs 1d4, I use the King's Indian. Can get nasty, but when it works it's beautiful.
