Default Woops, I Think You Were Caught Colluding

I was outside taking a break from my limit hold 'em game in a So Cal casino and a player from a fixed buy-in NL game started up a conversation with another player from the same game. The player was ranting about how bad and lucky one of the other players was, and offered the person outside about two buyins in cash to "sell" his chips at the table by calling his bets, then folding. He wanted more money in front of him than the fixed buy-in amount. The second player agreed, and the first player gave him the cash right there. Back inside, I was of course watching the game (the table was right next to mine) and sure enough, right away the first player puts in a large bet, and only the other colluder called. Another bet on the flop and another call. And again on the turn. Then on the river the guy put in yet another bet, which I guess made the total the right amount, and inexplicably, the second person called. The aggressor turned over two rags, and several people were saying "I want to see the other hand!" But the player winged his cards towards the muck to fold. Call it bad luck, or perhaps the poker gods were watching, but the cards hit the dealer's hand, and turned up, exposing a better hand.

Holy cow. You knew it had to happen. Needless to say, the conversation was quite lively at the table for a while after that!
