I agree about this leverage concept. It is a big part of how PL08 is played. Perhaps why it deserves its own forum seperate from PL0 and L08 each of which contains half of the components that make up the leverage. In the case of PL0 it is the amp up you bets-- in L08 it is the dynamics of the hi/lo splitting, including counterfitting and the fact that the low may never develop, and top trips and top two pair can be smashed by a low straight or garbage flush which would be clearly wrong to draw to in PL0.

The texture of what flops are good low leverage flops vs high leverage flops makes this game very different indeed and is where big money mistakes can be made and capitalized on.
